LUBRIPLATE Dexron III/Mercon is a premium fluid fully qualified to cover current requirements for both General Motors and Ford. General Motors Qualification No. - F-30481 Ford Qualification No. - M940507 Dexron III is a General Motors trademark for qualified automatic transmission fluids. Mercon covers all automatic transmissions for Ford model year 1988 and after. LUBRIPLATE Dexron III/Mercon is designated as make-up and/or refill fluids to meet respective car warranties. As well as Chrysler and American Motors cars, vans and light trucks plus those imported vehicles specifying Dexron II. This fluid can be used as a hydraulic fluid where specified by such manufacturers as Vickers and Sundstrand. This product is not recommended to replace ATF Type "F" (ESEM2C33F) or as a power steering fluid unless specified by the manufacturer.
